Brighton Location Recce Prep

For our trip to Brighton we are going to attempt a range of shots in order to prepare ourselves for our final production, and to analyse whether Brighton is a viable location option or not.

Our shot list includes:

• Establishing shots
• Still and tracking shots of someone against a quiet background
• Lip synching shots
• Shot of someone against a background of buildings

Some potential filming locations are:

• The pier
• A distant shot from the pier/beach
• Underneath the pier
• Arches
• Shopping areas

We will also be carrying out a risk assessment and location reccie by considering factors such as building style, lighting and colouring. This will help us to analyse whether this location is suitable for our concepts and genre/era in our later production.

Furthermore, we will carry out some still shots to begin considering options and ideas for our digipack in later production. Some stills will include:

• Someone standing in front of buildings
• Landscape shots
• Fairground rides and scenery shots
